About the domain
Down in the antipodes, 'dub' is a shortened way of saying of 'double U', especially used when pronouncing 'www' - it's become rather standardised and you hear it all the time in advertisments. It's used in the same way as the American 'dubya'.
We're not related to any of the following people or companies:
- The name dubdot is similar to Slashdot, which is always worth a read.
- You might be looking for The DubDot Company. Like me, they do web development and they too are New Zealanders. They also seem to use W3C standards so, while I can't recommend them personally, I'm more than happy to link to 'em.
- Maybe you're looking for dub dot dash, the blog of another New Zealander (Kiwis, in case you hadn't noticed, have a strange obsession with the term dubdot)
- You could be looking for dub.com, the webpage of 'Dub Worldwide'
